The Panchakarma department, a super speciality branch of Ayurveda , which deals with the Sodhana aspect of the Trividha Chikitsa. Panchakarma focuses on therapies like Vamana (therapeutic emesis), Virechana (therapeutic purgation), Basti (Decoction enema and oil enema), Nasya (nasal administration of medicine), and Rakta mokshana ( Blood letting). These procedures , not only emphasizes on treatment of various chronic disorders such as joint disorders ( Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis , etc.) , skin disorders (Psoriasis, Eczema ,etc.) , neurogenic disorders ( Hemiplegia, Paraplegia, etc.), etc. , but also it helps in maintaining the health by purifying the toxins of the body.

Panchakarma is the major section of the hospital, having multiple sub departmental rooms such as Vaman , Virechan , Snehana , Swedana and others. All type of classical Panchakarma procedures are done in hospital by Specially trained Panchakarma Technicians under the supervision of Panchakarma Consultants and Resident Medical officers for better outcome of the patients.

The Kaumarbhritta ( Paediatrics ) department, focuses not only on the holistic approach of care from garbha avastha ( intra uterine life) till onset of adulthood, but also , it provides basic management of the various childhood disorders. The hospital is also equipped with Immunization unit, delivering vaccinations as per National immunization Schedule. Speciality clinics are also set for children, suffering from ADHD, Muscular dystrophy, dyslexia, etc.

The hospital also has a Swarnaprashan unit, conducting regular camps, in which babies are given purified fine gold & other immune protective medicines , as per the classical Ayurvedic text, which improves the child’s intellectual, digestion, metabolism, physical strength, immunity, fertility, and lifespan.

The Prasooti Tantra ( Obstetrics ) department, deals with the complete care including diagnosis, investigation and management of ante natal , pregnancy and related complications, delivery, post delivery , as per Ayurveda and modern facilities. The Stri Roga( Gynaecology ) department, focuses on the diagnosis , investigation & management of the common gynaecological disorders such as menstrual disorders ( menorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea , amenorrhoea ), leucorrhoea , PCOS, uterine fibroid, breast fibro adenoma, uterine prolapse and others.

The department has a well equippedlabour room, with experienced staffs conducting regular deliveries under guidance of consultants and medical officers.

The Shalya Tantra (Surgery ) department , focuses on all possible surgical ailments as per NCISM mandate, such as Hydrocele, Hernia, Ano- rectal disorders ( Piles, Fistula, Rectal prolapse, pilonidal sinuses, Fissure ,etc ), Non- healing ulcers ( Diabetic ulcer, Varicose ulcer and others), Traumatic injuries ( fractures, wounds ), Skin disorders ( warts, keloids, abscess & others ) , with the help of kshar sutra, agni karma, rakta mokshan karma (jalauka, sira bheda , etc), and modern surgical equipment as well as procedures.

The Shalakya Tantra (ENT, Dentistry & Ophthalmology ) department , also famous as Urdhwanga chikitsa tantra, which is a special branch of the Ashtang Ayurveda(eight classical branches of Ayurveda) dealing with the prevention, diagnosis & treatment of all the diseases occurring above the neck such as Ear, Nose, Throat, Head, Eye & Oral cavity (teeth, gums, tongue), with the help of various shalakas (probe), karma (akshi tarpan, siro dhara, siro basti, nasya , etc), medicines and modern equipment as well as procedures. The department have an isolated operation theatre to conduct surgeries of Eye & ENT.

The department focuses in establishing ayurvedic approach with specialised treatments modalities including kriya kalpa ,in prevailing conditions, like refractive errors, dry eye syndrome, pterygium , diabetic retinopathy, migraine head ache, allergic diseases nose, sinusitis, nasal polyps, ear discharge, deafness, tinnitus, vertigo, trigeniminal neuralgia, acne vulgaris, tooth hypersensitivity, adenoid hypertrophy, Tonsilitis etc.

The Swasthavritta (Social & Preventive medicine, Yoga , Naturopathy ) department, deals with Regulation of life style, diet (pathya ) and behaviour on the basis of diurnal (dinacharya), seasonal (ritucharya) and geographical variations as well as the constitution (prakriti) of the individual, through yoga, naturopathy , rasayana karma and other karmas. Swasthavritta plays an important role in management of janpadadhwamsa ( communicable diseases, epidemics) by strengthening immunity , by providing physical and mental strength through yoga and other naturopathies.
